10. WarioWare: Get It Together!

The much-awaited series is finally coming to the Switch! The seasoned micro-games along with their version of the co-op mode are returning. This should provide gamers with more than an adequate challenge. The Nintendo Switch India community as well as, fellow Nintendo India members are keeping their hopes up high for this game and we hope this game can deliver on its promises.

9. Metroid Dread

Metroid Dread is a 2D-based game dropping after a long 19 years, and it will finally mean that the storyline will come to an end, which originally started in 1986. Later this year, the game will introduce some new elements and ideas for this Switch version. And the mechanics (which includes free aiming) in the 2017 3DS version of Metroid: Sams. There are new abilities such as the Phantom Cloak which will be a treat to use. We can’t wait for this title to drop as it seems like it has the right amount of thrill blended in with terror in it.

8. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Pokémon Diamond and Pearl is a remastered version of the classic DS titles in the soon-to-drop, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Taking place in the Shenao area, you will explore the land around Crown Mountain to discover the mythology it contains, and during this, you will be striving to become a champion of the Pokémon League. The new art style is inspired by mainly 2 games: Pokemon Let`s Go and the charming Zelda: Link remake from Switch, with its quirky character design. We hope the remastered version does justice to the original title, us being a part of the Nintendo India community will be waiting for this release.

7. Shin Megami Tensei 5

There are many similarities between Shin Megami Tensei 5 and the recently relaunched Nocture, the apocalyptic vision for Tokyo, the semi-demon protagonist, the tried and tested combat system, and demonic bargaining, are all elements of the game that seem similar. However, this is a much more mesmerizing adventure with new actions and strategic opportunities are also added to make it feel recognizable but unique at the same time.

6. Pokémon Legends: Arceus

When a poll was conducted among the Nintendo India members, one of the highest-ranked awaited games was the Pokémon Legends: Arceus. That just goes to show how high the expectations are for this game. This seems to be a very radical entry in the main Pokémon series. It is a flashback to the feudal era where the players will be exploring the Sinnoh region for the very first time. They will also be compiling their first-ever Pokedex in real-time.

It seems that we have a vast open-world to explore, with little to no restrictions, and the new time setting looks exhilarating so far. Although the game doesn’t drop anytime soon, we’re all aching to play this game as it truly looks majestic.

5. Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

One of the best games on the switch is finally getting a sequel, and, by the looks of it, it seems like we might have a worthy title on our switches soon. The game is expected to release in 2022 after its brief presence in E3 2021. The developers haven’t provided us with further information for now, but we can expect to get to know more about this game as the months go by. What we know for now is that there is a map extension with the skies now being an accessible part of the game. Enticing!

4. The Good Life

This game probably has one of the most intriguing storylines we have seen to date. The game starts with us, the main character, as a New York journalist moving to a tiny British town going by the name of Rainy Woods. After this event, we set out to make reports and click pictures of the town, but that isn’t all. What’s bonkers is the fact that the inhabitants change into cats and dogs! This goes to show Rainy Woods isn’t a normal place with normal citizens residing in it. The Nintendo India community expects big things from this title and it's safe to say that the game looks on track to blow minds away.

3. Bayonetta 3

Number 3 on our list is the 3rd edition of the Bayonetta series. The witch is finally returning and this game is a Nintendo-exclusive which makes it all the more special. Developers PlatinumGames are still going over the development of this game and that’s all the available information for now, but a teaser trailer has been released and it might be worth having a look at.

2. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

I’m pretty sure all of us have played, or at least, seen a Mario game in our lives. That’s how popular the Mario series has become. Nintendo India members are longing for this awaited installment and Hardcore fans of the series have been patiently waiting for this game to drop as they already know it’s going to be another hit. The original heroes return with some new and exciting faces, including the nominal Sparks and Rabbid Rosalina.

This time they face galactic danger in the form of the new villain going by the name of Cursa. The game will go beyond the Mushroom Kingdom to include a larger Rabbid multiverse, opening each of these worlds for free exploration. the game has dropped the ancient grid system, allowing you to freely control the three heroes of the game at your peril. There are still similar turn-based tactical rules to follow, but more creativity is expected to be allowed in battle with the enemy.

1 . B.ARK

B.ARK stands for Bio Interstellar Ark. It is a co-op sofa party game for up to 4 players. You must travel through the galaxy and fight against suspicious enemies. You can play as a bear, dog, cat, or even a rabbit! This on its is a major selling point, in my opinion. These animals want to save the solar system as they travel through space. Each animal has its strength and unique fighting style. The characters include a healing pug named Barker, a fierce cat named Felicity having powerful firepower, a protective spirit bear going by the name of Walker, and a speedy rabbit called Marv.

These Switch games are launching in 2021, 2022, and beyond. After quite a dormant period with quiet releases, we are now expecting the Switch to come back stronger than ever. The Nintendo India community is just as excited as you are!

If you're already a Switch gamer or are looking at it as an added motivation to buy a Switch OLED game console, then you're in luck because these new Switch games are giving you more than a few reasons to get yourself a Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch price in India and the Nintendo Switch price, in general, is expected to drop as well.
